Inspired by family and mentors

Nothing is more important to me than my family and friends. I live in Manteno and am happily married with 3 great kids. I feel very fortunate to have earned the opportunity to practice dentistry in my hometown. I grew up in the Limestone area and attended Herscher High School. Jenny, my wife, is a graduate of Bishop McNamara Catholic High School, and my kids have all attended Maternity BVM School.

I believe mentors are how we are inspired to do the best work possible. I was very fortunate to have mentors that were not just excellent clinicians, but great leaders in their field: Dr. Dominik Dubravec, Kankakee and Frankfort, Illinois (practice limited to the treatment of periodontal disease and dental implants) and Dr. Kevin Kopp, Elmhurst, Illinois ( board certified prosthodontist, specializing in comprehensive dental reconstruction).

Always striving to provide the best care

These mentors taught me to focus on what is important: #1 The patient is our primary concern, #2 Treat patients like you would your own family, #3 Always strive to deliver the best care possible, from dental cleanings to dental implants.

I took the unique path to dentistry by getting a degree in Dental Hygiene from Parkland College. While working at the periodontal practice, I worked on a number of clinical studies with Dr. Dubravec and researchers from the University of Bern Switzerland, London England, Florence Italy, and University of Texas.

I also attended Olivet Nazarene University and Governor State University prior to obtaining my dental degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
